Area: Spruce Grove (Sturgeon River Parkland)
Local Priorities: Tourism, not-for-profit or public-sector organizations that provide programs or services for community groups.
Tasks and Responsibilities: The primary responsibility will be to broaden our Spruce Grove based networks by developing digital collections and archives. The successful candidate will work with community organizations, team members and volunteers to develop these collections. A special effort will be made to contact organizations that work with families, teachers, students, parents, seniors, indigenous people, persons with disabilities, newcomers to Canada, and groups that work in both French and English. The employee must respect our Value-Based Medium, including the values of our partners and sponsors. The employee will also work on projects with other team members, our partners, and/or sponsors, as required. Research, training, and development will take place at a primary site and over the Internet, but may also take place at various sites.
