Michael Stringam is the Consultant from Urban Systems running the SGTMPSW, along with Spruce Grove City Engineer Jeff Mustard. In attendance were several people from specialized transport, urban development, government, and advocates for the disabled, public transit, bicycling and students.

The projects overview is to develop a 20-30 year vision for the Spruce Grove Transportation System. To develop a capital planning and policy guidelines for all transportation systems: vehicular traffic, public transit, bicycling or walking.
Each transit category can be broken down into Freeway and Expressways/Arterials/Collector Streets, and Local Streets.
The Existing Conditions in Spruce Grove are:
- Drive Alone(77%), Carpool (18%), Transit (1%), and Walk/Cycle (4%)
